Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009010150A1] The invention relates to a dirt collecting device (24) for a floor cleaning machine for receiving a fluid from a floor surface to be cleaned, having a carrier (36) and at least one wiping member (46, 48) for wiping the floor surface, the carrier and the at least one wiping member bounding a suction channel opening into a suction opening, the open cross-sectional area of which that allows passage of a suction flow is reduced at least in one segment of the channel in a direction away from the suction opening. In order to produce such a dirt collecting device in an inexpensive manner, it is proposed according to the invention that at least one channel constricting member (70, 72) be disposed in the suction channel (52), said member being produced separately from the carrier (36). The invention further relates to a floor cleaning machine having such a dirt collecting device.
