[origin: WO2009015747A1] The invention relates to a filling device (F) for beverage bottles, having a filling valve (V) by way of which various media, including a product to be bottled, may be supplied and/or removed, and a return gas tube (R) that is displaceable in a linear fashion relative to the filling valve by means of an electromagnetic positioning drive (P). The positioning drive is a linear motor (L) having a stationary stator housing (9) and an armature (14) coupled to the return gas tube (R).
