Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009012965A1] A holding apparatus (11) for a door of a washing machine has a closure (13). Said closure can be locked and unlocked by way of an unlocking spring (16) and a securing pin (18) which is fastened to said unlocking spring (16). The unlocking spring (16) is connected integrally to a switch spring (29) which can interrupt a current circuit for the washing machine drive by way of a switch (30). The two springs (16, 29) are triggered by a triggering means (40) which is actuated by bimetallic strip; however, the switch (30) is always opened first in time terms and the unlocking means (17) is then actuated. A risk of injury is thus avoided.
