Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009004417A1] The invention relates to a urinal for a toilet bowl having an integrated toilet seat. The invention proposes arranging side walls which can be folded open in a fan-like manner between the lid and a protection means which is incorporated on the projection of the lid over the toilet seat. The side walls are folded open such that a regular urinal without gaps is formed, it being possible to use said urinal in a standing position. At the same time, the urinal is provided with its own protected toilet seat, in order to be able to use the toilet bowl in a seated position. The urinal can be designed either as a kit which can be transformed and reused and comprises a solid material, or as a disposable kit comprising a biodegradable material. This lightweight and inexpensive product can be used as a generally or individually usable means in public toilets or in private households where it is not possible to install a separate urinal. The product provides outstanding protection of the surrounding area against soiling. It provides excellent practice for children.
