[origin: WO2009010258A1] The invention relates to a method for the input of geodata into a navigation device, wherein the geodata can be detected by a user in reference to information on a location. The method provides that electronically detectable additional data are provided in connection with the information on the location, the data containing the geodata, that additional data are detected by means of a receiver (105), and that the geodata of the navigation device contained in the additional data can be made available due to an operating action executed on the receiver (105), wherein navigating information can be determined in the navigation device based on the geodata. The invention further relates to a device suitable for carrying out the method and a device for providing and/or reproducing information on a location, which can be detected by a user, comprising a device for providing additional data containing geodata, which is in reference to the information on the location and can be detected by means of a receiver (105) that is connected to a navigation device.
