[origin: EP2003452A1] The present invention relates to a method for removing cross-reactive carbohydrate determinant (CCD) specific antibodies from a sample comprising the steps of: - providing a sample comprising or suspected to comprise CCD specific antibodies, - contacting and incubating said sample with a solid support comprising at least one cross-reactive carbohydrate determinant, immobilised on its surface, and - removing said solid support from the sample.
