[origin: WO2009010210A1] Plug for termination of optical transmission media comprising a plug housing (1) and at least one plug inner part (7) which is arranged therein and comprises a ferrule (6) with a hole (9) for holding the optical transmission medium, wherein the ferrule (6) is arranged such that it can be moved axially in the plug inner part (7) against the force of a spring (10), wherein the plug inner part (7) is connected by means of a snap-action connection (16, 17, 19) to the plug housing, wherein the plug housing (1) has at least one opening (19) in which a locking tab (16, 17) engages when in the installed position, wherein the locking tab (16, 17) is a radially extending projection, the longitudinal section of which is triangular in the axial direction, on a cylindrical part of the plug inner part (7).
