Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2172142A1] The method involves acquiring an input signal to control a mobile element from a first position to a second position, and controlling an operating state of an electric household appliance. The element is displaced from the first position to the second position by a motorized driving device, or the element is maintained in the first position depending on result of control of the operating state of the appliance. The element is stopped in the second position if the displacement of the element from the first position to the second position is authorized. An independent claim is also included for an electric household appliance including a control unit for controlling an operating state of the electric household appliance.
