Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2172595A1] The tap fitting has a tap socket (2) comprising a flange (3) for attachment to sanitary furniture. A water outlet (16) is flow-connected with a cartouche (6) via a channel (10). The water outlet is attached to the flange of the tap socket, and a section (11) of the channel runs through the flange. The flange separates a visible region from a fitting region of a tap, where the visible region comprises the flange with operating elements (12) of the cartouche and the water outlet that is provided at a distance from the flange.
