[origin: EP2172607A2] The lock (1) has a closing cylinder (2) and a shaft (3) which carries a handle, particularly a knob or a bolt at an end side. The closing cylinder has a locking catch (5) rotating around a rotation axis (4) defined by the shaft. A coupling (6) is provided, by which an operative connection between the shaft and the locking catch is shiftable after detection of a password.
