Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2172612A1] The profile i.e. hollow profile sash bar (6), has longitudinal abutting edges (12) welded together with a longitudinal weld seam (7) and a profile wall (6a). An outer profile surface (6b) is imprinted with paint. The longitudinal weld seam has a smooth outer weld seam surface (7a) that does not project exteriorly beyond the profile wall. The outer weld seam surface is imprinted with the paint. Two side walls (8) are placed parallel to one another, and two face walls (9) run crosswise to the side walls, where a cross-section of the side walls narrows toward the face walls. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for production of a hollow profile (2) a method for producing a hollow profile made of metal.
