The compressor has a capacity control including a valve unloader (2) arranged at an acting suction valve (1) of the compressor, where the valve unloader holds a sealing element (4) of the suction valve over a portion of a compressor's cycle by an electrically operated actuation device (3). The actuation device comprises an electric motor (5), where a driven element (6) of the motor comprises a guide surface (7) extending in a sloped manner in a rotational direction for low-friction rolling elements (8). An independent claim is also included for a method for controlling delivery rate of a reciprocating compressor.

Bei einem Hubkolben-Kompressor mit Fördermengenregelung weist die Abhebeeinrichtung (3) für den Abhebegreifer (2) des offenzuhaltenden Saugventils (1) als Antrieb einen Elektromotor (5) auf, dessen Abtriebselement (6) zusammen mit einem verdrehgesicherten Abhebeelement (10) des Abhebegreifers (2) und den dazwischen angeordneten Wälzelementen (8) einen Kugelumlaufspindel-Antrieb bildet. Es ergibt sich damit eine kleinbauende, exakt zu regelnde Abhebeeinrichtung (3) mit hoher Betätigungskraft und hoher Bewegungsdynamik.
