[origin: EP2172704A1] The device has a combustion chamber (1), and a biomass insertable into the combustion chamber by an air-permeable conveyor (3). The conveyor is guided across a support (4) including a set of air outlet openings, where the conveyor comprises ceramic fibers. The support partly forms a wall of a cavity, and an air supply connection. The cavity is formed in a U-shaped cross section with bent bracket ends. The combustion chamber is surrounded with an isolation (9), which forms an annular gap (10) with the combustion chamber.
