[origin: WO2009010250A2] The invention relates to a method for controlling, manually or automatically, the composition or quality of one of more products removed from the head, the sump or a lateral removal point of the distillation column (1) having a built-in heat-exchanger (2, 17, 18). Said method is characterised in that, by changing the pressure in the column (1), in the region of the product removal, the new boiling temperature of the product is determined from the vapour pressure curve of the product at said pressure and the temperature of the distillation removal is adjusted to said new boiling temperature by means of the modified coolant flowing through the heat-exchanger (2, 17, 18), preferably in the counter direction.
