[origin: WO2009000091A1] A roof structure (10) for the photovoltaic generation of electric current and/or for heating a flowing medium, in particular an air stream (14, 20), comprises flat, transparent or glass roof panels (24) which are at least partly equipped with flat solar cells (60). These glass roof panels are laid at a distance (a) from a roof substructure (12) so as to form an air-tight flat gap (18) which is largely free of obstructions in the flow direction, and are preferably square or rectangular.
