[origin: WO2009003440A1] The invention relates to a prismatic accumulator (10) with a first cell vessel (12), a first cell plate stack (24) accommodated within the first cell vessel (12), at least one second cell vessel (14), a second cell plate stack (26) accommodated within the second cell vessel (14), wherein the first cell vessel (12) and the second cell vessel (14) are separated by an electrically insulating intermediate wall (30.1). At least one first cell contact connector metal sheet (34) which is disposed in the first cell vessel (12) is connected to the intermediate wall (30) and is in contact with the first cell plate stack (24). At least one second cell contact connector metal sheet (40) which is disposed in the second cell vessel (14) is in contact with the second cell plate stack (26). According to the invention, each of the contact connector metal sheets (34, 40) is in contact with the respective plate stack (24, 26) via at least one spring tongue (38), wherein the at least one spring tongue (38) exerts mechanical pressure on the plate stack (24, 26) and with a free end (51) remains in contact with the respective plate stack (24, 26) and is so disposed that said tongue puts up a higher mechanical resistance to a movement of the plate stack (24, 26) out of the cell vessel (12, 14) than to a movement into the cell vessel (12, 14).
