[origin: EP2174753A1] In a combustion type driving tool adapted to be operated through combustion of a combustible gas, a fan switch for starting an electric motor for supplying the combustible gas to a combustion chamber and for rotating an agitating fan, and an ignition switch for igniting an ignition plug, have conventionally been covered, for example, with elastic members formed of rubber to mitigate the impact at the time of driving, etc. According to the present invention, it is possible to avoid damage of the switches without covering them with such elastic members. A fan switch (15) and an ignition switch (22) are arranged such that the moving directions of operating buttons (15b, 22b) thereof cross the moving directions of a contact lever (9) and the moving direction of a switch lever (21), respectively.
