Abstract (en)
An elevator and counterbalance weights moves along a pair of vertical guiderails (4). The drive system is an gearless traction drive (8) with stationary stator and external, rotating and inner drive tubes (9) incorporating permanent magnets. The traction drive is fabricated as a single unit and hangs with the power tube from drive cables, and is otherwise mounted freely on a guide frame (11). The guide frame moves between vertical guide rails (4) linked at their top to a bridge with the pulley wheels with drive control and elevator controls. Together, the traction drive and guide frame form a locomotive combination for the sub-mounted mass-balance frame (13) also moving between the guide rails (4).

Der Antrieb für die Liftkabine und deren Gegengewicht ist an einem Paar von vertikalen Führungsschienen (4) geführt. Der Antrieb ist ein getriebeloser Traktionsantrieb (8) mit stationärem Stator und äusserem, drehenden und innen mit Permanentmagneten bestückten Treibrohr (9). Der Traktionsantrieb (8) ist als Einheit ausgebildet, mit seinem Treibrohr (9) an den Antriebsseilen hängend und sonst freistehend auf einem Führungsrahmen (11) angeordnet. Der Führungsrahmen (11) ist zwischen den vertikalen Führungsschienen (4) geführt, die oben mit einer Brücke verbunden sind, an welcher die Umlenkrollen hängen. Er enthält die Antriebssteuerung (21) sowie die Liftsteuerung (22). Der Traktionsantrieb (8) und dieser Führungsrahmen (11) bilden zusammen sozusagen eine Lokomotive (Antriebsmodul für einen Zug), welche den darunter hängenden, ebenfalls an den beiden vertikalen Führungsschienen (4) geführten Rahmen (13) zieht, der zur Aufnahme eines bedarfsweise festzulegenden Gegengewichtes aus Gewichtsmodulen (17) dient.
