Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2175075A2] The tripod has a first leg (3), and two legs (4, 5) converging into an apex (6), where length of the first leg in a deployed state along the apex at a free lower end of the first leg is smaller than lengths of the other legs. The first leg includes a cross-section larger than cross-section of the other legs. The apex is in an intermediate position on the first leg that carries a hooking unit (15) i.e. ring, above the apex, where the unit hooks a strap. The apex is constituted by a U-shaped plate slidingly mounted on the first leg with immobilization possibility by a roller (14). An independent claim is also included for an installation comprising a manhole.
