Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2175456A2] The X-ray analysis instrument has an X-ray source that emits an X-ray beam. A collimator mechanism has an aperture window with an aperture opening (3) through which X-ray beam is passed. The gradual movement of the aperture window is performed along a direction transverse to the X-ray beam. The path of movement of aperture window is larger than the extension of the X-ray beam along preset direction. An independent claim is included for method for operating X-ray analysis instrument.
