Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2177289A1] The tool has a discharging slope (25) arranged such that a workpiece part is severed from a workpiece supported on a support surface (23) of a punching die (11'), which is displaced in a rotational, tilting or linear movement from a processing position partially overlying the discharging slope towards a removal position on the discharging slope. The workpiece part is severed from a workpiece supported on the support surface of the punching die, which slides towards a discharging position located beneath the support surface and adjacent to the punching die. An independent claim is also included for a method for discharging workpiece parts severed from a plate workpiece via a punching operation.
