[origin: EP2177321A1] The driver (10) has a driving tappet (14) movably mounted in a tappet guide. A tensioner has a tensioning element (76) provided with a profile. The tensioning element moves along a longitudinal axis of motion (A) using a rotatable counter-element engaged with the profile. Guide sections (78, 79) allow the tensioning element to swivel around longitudinal axis of the motion. A locking mechanism (50) is shifted into a release position by swiveling movement of the tensioning element. The tensioning element has a radially protruding guide element (81b) that interacts with the guide sections.
