Abstract (en)
The lighting unit (1) has a reflector (10) for reflecting a part of light emitted from an LED lighting unit at reflector surfaces during the operation of the lighting unit. The reflector is assigned to the LED lighting unit. The LED lighting unit is designed as an LED chip (3) with an LED. The reflector is arranged such that surface-like, homogeneous illumination of the environment of the lighting unit is received during the operation of the lighting unit. The reflector radiates the part of light from the lighting unit.

Bei einer Leuchteinheit mit mindestens einem Leuchtsegment (2a, 2 I a-2 XII a 203a, 203 I a, 204, 205, 213, 215, 217; 2b, 2 I b-2 XIII b, 203b, 203 I b, 205, 209, 214, 216, 218; 2 I c, 2 II c, 2 III c, 2 X c, 2 XI c, 103c, 203 I c; 2 II d, 2 III d; 2 III e; 2 III f), das mindestens ein LED-Leuchtmittel und mindestens einen dem mindestens einen LED-Leuchtmittel zugeordneten Reflektor (10, 10 I , 11, 13, 13", 101) aufweist, welcher Reflektor (10, 10 I , 11, 13, 13 II , 13 II , 101) während des Betriebs der Leuchteinheit (1, 1a-1x) zumindest einen Teil des von dem mindestens einen LED-Leuchtmittel emittiertem Lichts an Reflektorflächen reflektiert und aus der Leuchteinheit (1, 1a-1x) abstrahlt, soll eine Lösung geschaffen werden, welche eine zum Einbau in eine Leuchte, insbesondere eine Straßenlaterne, geeignete Leuchteinheit zur Verfügung stellt, mittels derer eine homogene, im Wesentlichen flächige Ausleuchtung der Umgebung erreicht wird.
