Abstract (en)
The burner has an ionization electrode (2) arranged within a flame range of a burner surface (23) and detecting ionization stream depending on combustion of gas-air mixture. Mixture supply chambers (26, 27) are provided for a gas-air mixture (12) and comprise a region that is assigned to the ionization electrode and separated from remaining regions of the chambers by a partition (25). The supply chambers are formed such that the gas-air mixture in the region assigned to the ionization electrode possesses pressure higher than that of the remaining regions.

Gasbrenner mit einem Gemischverteiler (24), einer im Flammenbereich einer Brenneroberfläche (23) angeordneten Ionisationselektrode (2), die einen von der Verbrennung eines Gas-Luft-Gemisches (12) abhängigen Ionisationsstrom erfasst, einer Signalverarbeitungseinrichtung (3) die in Abhängigkeit von einem Ionisationsstromsignal (13, 21) eine Regelgrösse (14) für eine Regeleinrichtung (4) bereitstellt, die das Gas-Luft-Verhältnis (12) für die Verbrennung nach einem Sollwert einstellt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Gasbrenner einen Gemischzufuhrraum (26, 27) für das Gas-Luft-Gemisch (12) aufweist, der einen der Ionisationselektrode (2) zugeordneten Bereich (26) umfasst, der durch eine Abtrennung (25)von dem übrigen Bereich (27) des Gemischzufuhrraumes getrennt ist, wobei der Gemischzufuhrraum (26, 27) so aufgebaut ist, dass das Gas-Luft-Gemisch (12) in dem der Ionisationselektrode (2) zugeordneten Bereich (26) einen höheren Druck aufweist als in dem übrigen Bereich (27).
