Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2178079A1] The method involves applying a bipolar perturbation signal to pixels of zone and during an interval (t1), where the signal is greater than a threshold signal so that each pixel exits in an initial state and the signal is less than a switching signal so that each pixel of the zone having one of stable states as initial state does not flip into other stable state. Application of signal is prohibited to each pixel for an interval (t2) so as to allow each pixel to return to its initial stable state. The application of the signal and the prohibition of application of signal are reiterated.
