Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009010690A2] The invention relates to a method for the purification of a feed gas stream containing CO2 and at least one impurity, comprising the following successive steps: a) a pre-treatment step; b) a compression step; c) a step comprising the elimination of at least one impurity contained in the compressed gas stream, selected from nitrogen, oxygen, argon and noble gases, using exchangers combined with separators in a cold cycle, i.e. temperature 2-enriched purified gas stream is recovered in liquid, gaseous or supercritical form. The invention is characterised in that a purification step is performed between steps (a) and (c) in order to eliminate at least paritally at least one impuritiy selected from nitrogen oxides and water.
