[origin: EP2180102A2] The aerator (1) has an aerator housing (2) with a jet fractionating device (3) placed in interior. Lattice structures (6, 7, 15) are spaced at a distance from the jet fractionating device in a flow direction. A set of pins is provided between the jet fractionating device and a housing portion that is arranged adjacent to one of the lattice structures. The pins extend over a distance between the jet fractionating device and the lattice structure, where the pins are spaced at a distance from each other and are oriented in the flow direction.
