[origin: EP2180128A2] The rail (1) has holders (5) for fixing the rail at a stock frame (4) of a window or a door, arranged at a distance to each other and fitted at a profile part (2) e.g. metallic profile and plastic profile, and the stock frame. The holders and the profile part are formed such that the profile part is arranged at a distance to the stock frame in a mounted condition. A gap (8) is formed between the profile part and the stock frame and is bridged by a seal (7), where the seal transfers water accumulated in a folding area (6) to an external side of the profile part.
