[origin: EP2180550A2] The device (2) has a surface coating or a surface structure provided on a flat side in such a manner that existing electrical resonance in an area of the contact device above a barrier frequency is strongly damped than the frequency of an electrical signal below the barrier frequency. The flat side is coated with a material having a lower electrical conductivity, where the surface structure is formed from grooves or channels. Contact sections (3) are attached to an end of a conductor, where a thickness of the surface coating is measured with the electrical conductivity.
