Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2009021631A1] The invention relates to a device (10) and a method for processing objects (20), wherein the objects (20) have a piece of an optically detectable information on at least one side. The objects are transported separately by means of the device (10) on a conveyor path (30) and to a reading device (40), which detects the information on all sides of the objects (20). The reading device (40) is connected to a data processing unit (50) having means for receiving and analyzing the detected information from all sides of the objects (20). The analysis of this information in the data processing unit (50) comprises at least the determination of the side of an object (20), on which the information was detected. The data processing unit (50) duplicates the detected information and transmits the same to a printer unit (60). The printer unit (60) attaches the duplicated information on a pre-determined reading side of the objects (20), wherein the default of the reading side is stored in the data processing unit (50).
