Abstract (en)
The tool (1) has a body (2) including a pocket region provided on a loops picking up section (3), where the region comprises an anti-wear element (15) in-the-form of spray-deposited coating e.g. metallic coating. The region is formed as a pocket, where the pocket is provided in a flat lateral surface (5) of the body to define a recessed region in the lateral surface. The pocket extends through a parallel-extending narrow side (8) on the lateral surface, and is filled by the anti-wear element, where the anti-wear element is flushed with the lateral surface circumscribing the pocket. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a tool for manufacturing carpet goods.

Erfindungsgemäß wird ein Schlingengreifer 1 vorgeschlagen, der an seinem Greiferkörper 2 eine verschleißmindernde Beschichtung aufweist, die als Verschleißschutzelement 15 dient. Zur Aufnahme dieser Beschichtung ist der Greiferkörper 2 an einer geeigneten Stelle mit einer Vertiefung versehen, auf deren Boden die Beschichtung beispielsweise durch Plasmaspritzen aufgebaut wird. Als Beschichtung wird vorzugsweise ein oxidkeramisches Material verwendet.
