[origin: EP2182111A2] The method involves cutting a transfer strip (6) for threading a continuous fibrous material web in a paper making machine. The transfer strip is threaded by the machine. The properties of a fiber suspension (25) are modified partially within the area of the transfer strip for the threading process, which increases the mass per unit area.
