The door- or window fitting has a handle (1) and a rosette (2) which has a mounting base (14) fastened at a door leaf or at a window frame and a bearing disk (29) axially fixed on a bearing section (4) of the handle for rotatable mounting of the handle and a covering cap (28). A holding spring (12) is provided within the area of the bearing section. The holding spring is coactive with the bearing section in one side and with the bearing disk in another side. The bearing disk is pressed from an unlocked rotational position into a locked rotational position by the pre-load of the holding spring.

Ein Tür- oder Fensterbeschlag weist einen separat an einem Türblatt oder Fensterrahmen befestigbaren Montagesockel (14) sowie eine an der Handhabe (1) befestigbare Lagerscheibe (29) zur Lagerung der Handhabe (1) auf. Im Bereich des Lagerabschnitts (4) der Handhabe (1) ist eine einerseits mit dem Lagerabschnitt (4) und andererseits mit der Lagerscheibe (29) zusammenwirkende Hochhaltefeder (12) vorgesehen. Weiterhin ist ein bajonettartiger Verriegelungsmechanismus zwischen Lagerscheibe (29) und Montagesockel (14) vorgesehen, wobei die an den Montagesockel (14) angesetzte Lagerscheibe (29) durch die Vorspannkraft der Hochhaltefeder (12) von einer entriegelten Drehposition in eine verriegelte Drehposition gedrängt wird, in der die Lagerscheibe (29) am Montagesockel (14) festgelegt ist.
