Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2182417A2] The crown (10) has a first tube (20) kinematically connected to a movement of a time piece. A second tube (26) receives the first tube. A third tube (36) has an internal part (38) that assures its permanent fixation on a watch case (12), and an external part (40) directed towards a head (14). The third tube receives the first and second tubes, and has an indexing unit i.e. internal gear teeth (48), cooperating with another indexing unit i.e. toothed crown (30), of the second tube. A blocking unit i.e. nut, blocks displacement in translation, of the second tube with respect to the third tube. An independent claim is also included for a method for orienting a screwing crown.
