[origin: WO0200045A1] A cigarette filter, process to manufacture, wherein a low application temperature ethylene copolymer based hot melt adhesive is applied to porous and/or nonporous plugwrap paper. As used herein, low application temperatures are temperature between 200 DEG F and 300 DEG F (93 DEG C and 149 DEG C), preferably, 240 DEG F to 275 DEG F (115 DEG C to 135 DEG C).
