[origin: EP2184393A1] The machine i.e. washing machine (1), has a drum (3) rotatably supported in a plastic studs tub (2), which is provided with thermal insulation unit. The thermal insulation unit has shell elements forming outside hollow chambers at the suds tub, and the hollow chambers for the insulation unit are evacuated. The shell elements are sectionally positioned at a casing and in a lower region of the suds tub relating to an operation-appropriate position of the suds tub. The shell elements and/or the tub are comprised of polypropylene-glass fiber material.
