[origin: EP2184421A2] The fastening element (50) has an end section (2) with a retainer (4) for retaining another end section (3), where the latter end section is inserted into the retainer of the former end section in a direction of a longitudinal extension of the fastening element. A wall (15) of the retainer turned towards a substructure has a section for fixing the fastening element at the substructure using a screw or a pin that is accessible at a mounting position of the fastening element at the substructure from outside i.e. from an upper side (6) of the fastening element.
