The fixture (10) has a dished reflector (16) including an interior side at which a light source (17) is mounted, where an inner surface (30) of the dished reflector includes two contiguous sectors (25, 27). A major portion (29a) of light coming from the light source and impinging on one of the contiguous sectors is reflected from the former sector onto a building surface (13) e.g. wall surface. A portion (28a) of the light coming from the light source and impinging on the other contiguous sector falls on the building surface only after a further reflection off of the former contiguous sector.

Beschrieben und dargestellt ist eine Leuchte (10) zur Ausleuchtung von Gebäudeflächen (13), umfassend ein schalenförmiges Reflektorelement (16), in dessen Innenraum (46) eine Lichtquelle (17) anordenbar ist. Die Besonderheit besteht darin, dass die Innenfläche (30) des Reflektorelementes wenigstens einen ersten Abschnitt (25) und einen zweiten Abschnitt (27) aufweist, wobei Licht (29a), welches von der Lichtquelle kommend auf den ersten Abschnitt (25) trifft, zum überwiegenden Teil (29b) von dem ersten Abschnitt auf die Gebäudefläche gelenkt wird, und wobei zumindest ein wesentlicher Anteil des Lichtes (28a), welches von der Lichtquelle (17) kommend auf den zweiten Abschnitt (27) trifft, erst infolge einer weiteren Reflektion an dem ersten Abschnitt (25) auf die Gebäudefläche trifft (27c).
