Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2009021785A1] The invention relates to a fuel injection valve (10) for internal combustion engines, having a valve needle (14), having a control chamber (16) and having a control valve (22), wherein the control valve (22) has an actuating element (26) which is held in a movable manner on a guide element (24) and which is acted on with a force in the direction of a sealing seat (28), and having an actuator (29) for lifting the actuating element (26) from the sealing seat (28). The invention is characterized in that the actuating element (26) has a central passage hole which comprises a tapering section in which a thickening of an intermediate element (32) is arranged, wherein the diameter of the thickening is greater than the smallest diameter of the tapering section of the central passage hole of the actuating element (26), wherein the intermediate element (32) has a stop element (38) which is axially movable only as far as an upper stop on the intermediate element (32) and which, in the event of an axial movement on the intermediate element in the downward direction, comes into contact with the actuating element (26).
