[origin: WO2009033461A1] The invention relates to a surgical light comprising a light casing, a reflector (2) and a lighting device, the surgical light being configured as a single reflector light. In order to prevent the operation wound from drying out, LEDs, OLEDs or laser diodes are used as the lighting device. The heat generated during operation of the light is carried off towards the exterior by a heat-conducting structure and is given off to the surroundings in a direction away from the patient by way of heat transfer from material to air and/or by way of thermal radiation.
