[origin: WO2009030523A1] According to one exemplary embodiment of the invention, a danger warning is provided to a driver of a vehicle, wherein measurement values detected by different vehicles, or corresponding preliminary analysis results, are centrally evaluated by a server. The server subsequently decides who should receive a relevant danger warning. In this manner the main computing power may be carried out in the server, thus relieving the individual vehicle systems. Furthermore, the data transfer can be minimized, as the messages are sent only to selected receivers.
