Abstract (en)

The hollow toothbrush handle (2) is composed of at least two shell sections (5,6). The sections (5,6) are placed in an injection mold, for plastics to be injected over at least part of the common joint between them, to bond them durably together. The handle sections are both of plastics, or one section can be of metal. The molded seam is of a thermoplastic material.

Zum Herstellen eines aus zwei Griffteilen (5, 6) bestehenden Handgriffes für ein Zahnreinigungsgerät (1) werden in einem geschlossenen Dreikomponenten-Spritzgusswerkzeug (25') in einer ersten Kavität (52) durch Einspritzen eines ersten Kunststoffmaterials der erste Griffteil (5) und in einer zweiten Kavität (52') durch Einspritzen eines zweiten Kunststoffmaterials der zweite Griffteil (6) hergestellt. In einer dritten Kavität (52") wird durch Einspritzen eines thermoplastischen Kunststoffmaterials, vorzugsweise eines thermoplastischen Elastomers, die Trennfuge (30) zwischen den in einem vorhergehenden Spritzzyklus hergestellten Griffteilen (5, 6) ausgefüllt. Im selben Spritzgiessvorgang werden aus dem Kunststoffmaterial, mit dem die Trennfuge (30) ausgefüllt wird, noch andere Teile des Handgriffes (2) gebildet.
