Abstract (en)
The polyamide plastic monofilament bristle fixed on a bristle head (4), has a cloverleaf-shaped bristle structure (10) having several longitudinal ribs arranged in a star shape or circumferentially, and projecting laterally from a core of the bristle structure. The bristle structure is configured to be self-fanning by the action of cleaning forces. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) brush head; and (2) electric toothbrush.

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Borste für eine Zahnbürste, die aus einem Monofilament aus Kunststoff besteht, wobei der vorzugsweise kleeblattförmige Borstenkorpus mehrere sternförmig angeordnete Längsrippen besitzt, die von einem Kernabschnitt des Borstenkorpus seitlich vorspringen. Die Erfindung betrifft weiterhin einen Bürstenkopf für eine elektrische Zahnbürste mit zumindest einem Borstenbüschel mit zumindest einer solchen Borste sowie eine elektrische Zahnbürste mit einem solchen Bürstenkopf. Erfindungsgemäß ist die Borste der eingangs genannten Art selbstaufspleißend ausgebildet derart, dass die beim normalen Putzen auf die Borsten einwirkenden Putzkräfte zu einem Aufspalten der Borste an deren freien Ende führt. Hierdurch können aufwändige Spleißverfahren und entsprechende Spleißmaschinen bei der Herstellung der Zahnürste eingespart werden.
