[origin: EP2186733A2] The web (1) has upper and lower side extending along the length of a web. A regular mountain or valley structure (9) is formed in upper and lower surface of the web. The web is made up of paper fiber material. The web is folded in the form of a leporellos for forming multiple horizontal pile layers (3). An independent claim is included for a storing and transporting packet for using as a packing material source for producing an endless packing material string.
