Abstract (en)
The assembly (10) has a peripheral profile (14) arranged partially along periphery of a cylindrical body (1) i.e. drying cylinder, of a drying arrangement. Direction (20) of the peripheral profile is aligned at an angle to a peripheral direction (16) of a tangential plane (24) of a peripheral surface (27) of the cylindrical body. The direction of the peripheral profile is continuously and periodically varied with respect to the peripheral direction in different tangential planes. The angle has a sinusoidal distribution. An independent claim is also included for a drying arrangement comprising a pressure cap.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Dichtungsanordnung (10) für einen zylinderförmigen Körper (1), insbesondere einen Trockenzylinder einer Trockenanordnung zur Trocknung einer Materialbahn, wobei der zylinderförmige Körper eine Zylinderachse (3), die sich in eine axiale Richtung erstreckt, aufweist sowie eine Umfangsfläche in einer Umfangsrichtung, wobei die Umfangsrichtung (16) senkrecht zur axialen Richtung (5) steht. Erfindungsgemäß ist vorgesehen, dass die Dichtungsanordnung zumindest teilweise entlang des Umfanges des zylinderförmigen Körpers einen Umfangsverlauf (14) aufweist und die Richtung des Umfangverlaufs unter einem Winkel ± ‰ 0 schräg zur Umfangsrichtung (16) in wenigstens einer Tangentialebene (24) der Umfangsfläche (27) des zylinderförmigen Körpers (1) ausgerichtet ist.
