Continuous production of impregnated paper honeycomb (I) using polyurethane resin as core material, comprises: continuous production of expanded paper honeycomb material; continuous treatment of the material with an impregnating agent containing a polyurethane resin-containing solvent mixture; incipient dissolution and complete penetration of the paper honeycomb with the impregnating agent; reaction of the polyurethane resin with the existing moisture in the paper honeycomb and evaporation of the solvent content; and curing (I). Continuous production of impregnated paper honeycomb (I) using polyurethane resin as core material, comprises: continuous production of expanded paper honeycomb material; continuous treatment of the material with an impregnating agent containing a polyurethane resin-containing solvent mixture, where the reduced viscosity of the solvent is 10-35%; incipient dissolution and complete penetration of the paper honeycomb with the impregnating agent; reaction of the polyurethane resin with the existing moisture in the paper honeycomb and evaporation of the solvent content; and curing (I). Abstract (de)
Aufgabe der vorliegenden Erfindung ist die Entwicklung eines Verfahrens zur kontinuierlichen Herstellung imprägnierter Papierwaben sowie die Schaffung entsprechender imprägnierter Papierwaben, bei dem in einem kontinuierlichen Herstellungsprozess wasserfeste Papierwaben produziert werden können, die dann aufgrund der durchgängigen Imprägnierung und der auch nach der Imprägnierung möglich Verformbarkeit als noch nicht geformte Ware vorliegen. Das Verfahren soll gleichzeitig kostengünstig und verfahrenstechnisch mit geringem Aufwand realisierbar sein. Die Aufgabe wird verfahrensgemäß gelöst, indem in einem ersten Schritt Papierwabenmaterial in einem kontinuierlichen Expansionsprozess produziert wird. Dieses kontinuierlich produzierte Material wird ebenfalls kontinuierlich mit einer Polyurethanharz-Lösungsmittel-Mischung mit durch einen Lösungsmittelanteil von 10-35% stark verringerter Viskosität durchtränkt, wodurch das Material in seiner Struktur angelöst und vollständig vom Imprägniermittel durchdrungen wird. Es kommt dann in einem weiteren Verfahrenschritt zur Reaktion des Polyurethanharzes und der in der Papierwabe vorhandenen Feuchtigkeit und abschließend zum Aushärtungsvorgang der imprägnierten Papierwabe unter Verflüchtigung der enthaltenen Lösungsmittelanteile.
