The key (4) has a shaft (6) including a central transverse rib (12) to which longitudinal ribs (13, 14) are fastened, where the longitudinal ribs are directed in a direction of a key rear part (11) and a key front part (10). The longitudinal ribs are offset together in sections adjoining the transverse rib, in an intersection-free manner. The longitudinal and the transverse ribs meet one another at right angles. The rear and the front parts form two narrow sides of the shaft together. Locking notches (9) are arranged on the front part.

Ein Schlüssel (4) für einen Stiftzuhaltungen (8) aufweisenden Schließzylinder (1) hat eine mittlere Querrippe (12), an der zwei zueinander versetzt angeordnete Längsrippen (13, 14) angebunden sind. Eine der Längsrippen (14) steht in Richtung eines Schlüsselrückens (11) ab, während die andere Längsrippe (13) in Richtung einer Schlüsselbrust (10) absteht. Die Längsrippen (13, 14) werden von Kreisbögen (15, 16) gebildet. Ein anstelle des Schlüssels (4) in den Schließzylinder (1) eingeführtes Manipulationswerkzeug wird seitlich weg aus dem Bewegungsbereich der Stiftzuhaltungen (8) gedrückt. Der Schlüssel (4) weist eine hohe Stabilität auf und erschwert den Ersatz durch ein Manipulationswerkzeug.
