Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2187032A2] The valve device (10) comprises a housing (15), which has a housing channel (40) with an inlet (14) and an outlet (13) for the exhaust gas. A return valve (17) is provided, which is operated by driving unit for controlling the quantity of exhaust gas flowing through the housing channel. A drive is provided for switching a transfer valve (23) of the driving unit, which causes the operation of the return valve between an opening position and a closing position.
