Abstract (en)

[origin: EP2187163A1] The method involves transmitting a programming signal from a set of programming coils (2b-2g) toward a reception unit that is integrated to a fuse (12). The coils are individually connected to an electronic control unit, and two of the programming coils of the set of programming coils are arranged near the fuse of a projectile (8) during passage of the fuse at level of a supply unit of a weapon. The coils are placed such that the fuse of the projectile passes in front of the coils. An independent claim is also included for a programming device for implementing a method for programming a fuse comprising a programming coil.
