Abstract (en)
[origin: EP2187376A1] The panel has an information facade (1) equipped with luminous units constituted by LEDS. A protection element (2) is fixed on the facade to cover a rear face of the facade. A battery provides power supply to the panel. A control unit controls the luminous units connected to a triggering device i.e. vehicle detection radar, so as to activate the luminous units. The facade and the protection element define a functional inner space whose inner side accommodates the battery, the triggering unit and the control unit. A polycrystalline type photovoltaic panel assures recharging of the battery.
